Blackmold in Turtle Creek
Challenge
Ashley and Susan called in because they had just had their home inspected by Orkin due to some pests they had a problem with, upon the Orkin man's inspection he found a room that had been closed off for some time now. The room needed to be opened to treat properly for the pests, upon opening the room he had found a great deal of blackmold and informed the homeowners to call us right away. Keystone Basement Systems then sent out their best field inspector to sit down with them, go over their concerns, and then do a inspection for himself, this is done to better equip himself to come up with a plan of action to get this home healthy again. The homeowner stated she has a 7 year old son who has Asthma that she was concerned about. Field inspector Aaron Stull did his very extensive evaluation of the problem and came up with a fantastic plan to not only get rid of the mold but to prevent it from happening in the future. The field inspector came up with the plan to use CleanSpace Vapor Barrier which has anti-microbial protection called UltraFresh built right in, no mold or mildew will grow on the CleanSpace! He also wanted to install some Internal French Drainage and finally but certainly not least was a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. The SaniDry Sedona is the world's most efficient, high-performance dehumidifier and filtration system, without a bulky heat exchange core. With its small size, it takes up less space in a basement and easily fits in small crawl spaces.
