Mold and mildew in Dravosburg, Pa.
Challenge
Rosemarie reached out to Keystone Basement Systems, after finding them on Angie's list, due to the fact that her basement was getting water in after the rains, and that she smelled a strong odor of mildew. Keystone basement Systems then sent out a field inspector to speak with her about this issue, before conducting a expert inspection of the problem area. Once the filed inspector started talking to her about the issue he knew how concerned she was and that he had to come up with a great plan to not only get her basement dry again but also to put her mind at ease. In his inspection he had noticed that the cove was not only getting water infiltration but was allowing the water to pool there. This was helping to promote the growth of the mold that he had found, which cause him to be alarmed for her safety. The field inspector came up with a great plan to install some WaterGuard, a TripleSafe sump pump and some CleanSpace on the one back wall.
Solution
The field inspector then returned to keystone's office to promptly schedule the appointment for installation. Keystone then sent out one of its best foreman and his crew to install the pump, the WaterGuard and also the CleanSpace. Once completed with this project they took Rosemarie through the basement to show her how everything worked and make sure she had no questions on anything they had done. She was thrilled with the results.
