Carbon fiber strap in New Stanton
Challenge
Becky and Jo reached out to Keystone Basement Systems after finding them online, they have an issue with their home's basement wall needing to be fixed, it was bowing. The field inspector that was scheduled to go meet with them was very versed in that field and knew he had to come up with a custom fit plan to get this house back to having structural integrity. Field inspector Brian McWhirter was very prompt about this meeting, which put both Jo and Becky at ease already, they had a previous scheduled appointment with another company that never showed up. Field inspector Brian got right to work after meeting with Becky and Jo to go over their concerns and questions. Field inspector Brian conducted his inspection by using his knowledge of the issue at hand, and performing several tasks, to include moisture testing as well as very precise measurements and so much more. Field inspector Brian's plan was to include an internal drainage system with a clean out, as well CarbonArmor carbon fiber straps for the structural integrity of this home. The walls bowing issue was the cause of the moisture coming into their basement, so he knew to be a complete fix he had to fix all the problem area. The field inspector then returned to the office to schedule this project for installation right away.
Solution
Upon the day of installation, the foreman and his crew showed up for their scheduled appointment right on time and quickly got to work. They installed the internal drainage system and the clean-out. Then they hopped right to install the CarbonArmor straps. Upon finalization of the installation, the crew cleaned up while the foreman went over everything with the homeowner as to how everything works. The foreman then provided the homeowners with the telephone number to the service department, so that he could schedule their annual service appointments and if they needed to reach out with a concern or question, or even issue that needed to be fixed. Becky and Jo are more than thrilled with their decision to move forward with this project and even happier that Keystone was able to get their home safe and dry again.
