This basement had a bowing foundation wall and foundation settlement problem that we permanently repaired with the CarbonArmor Foundation Wall Reinforcing System and our foundation Push Pier System. The CarbonArmor system is made up of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) straps that are placed along the wall. These straps are bonded together to form a continuous layer of reinforcement. This helps to keep the wall in place and allows it to resist any further bowing or cracking. The Push Piers, on the other hand, are used in cases of settlement problems. They are installed deep into the foundation and help to stabilize the foundation by providing additional support.
