Sump pump in West Newton
Challenge
Pam and Shirley knew they had a problem when their doors and windows were not opening and closing the right way. They called Keystone Basement Systems to help with this issue. Keystone sent out one of the best field inspectors they have, Brian McWhirter. Brian conducted a very thorough inspection of their basement to find that they were having water infiltrating the basement, which was leading to structural damages to the walls in the basement, which as a result was the sagging floors. After explaining all of what he had found to the homeowners he then showed them along with showing them the amazing plan he had come up with to fix it. The plan consisted of 36 foot of Internal french drains with a singular cleanout, a SuperSump sump pump and 1 support post for the floors. This sump pump is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods of time, even in times of heavy water intrusion. The SuperSump® includes a powerful Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement.
Solution
Keystone then sent out foreman Juan and his crew member Scott to complete the installation. Once completed they showed the customer the products and how they worked and had a great conversation about the "new" dry basement and the fact that they were excited the door shut properly again!
