Challenge
Susan and David had seen Keystone Basement Systems at the Holiday market show in downtown Pittsburg and knew they needed to schedule an appointment right away, they had water coming into their basement and it smelled like mold down there. Keystone promptly sent out one of their best field inspectors to talk with them and then proceed onto conducting his professional inspection of the problem area. The filed inspector took all the right measurements and used all the right tools to ensure that he came up with a plan to get this house dry and safe again. Upon his inspection he found that the house was definitively growing mold, which could lead to health problems for the homeowners. His plan was to install a 97 foot internal french drain and to have it lead to a 5 foot long buried discharge line all while also including 2 sump umps and 4 clean outs. He also included doing a JoMax wash to get rid of the mold and to help prevent any new mold from growing in the future.
Solution
The field inspector once again sat down with Susan and David and went over all of his findings and his solution, making sure they fully understood everything. He then returned to the office and scheduled the project out for an immediate installation. The foreman and his crew arrived at the residence and went over the plan oof what was going to happen on this day of installation, and then promptly went to work. They foreman and his crew installed the 97 foot drainage system and the 2 sump pumps along with the 4 clean outs and the buried 5 foot discharge line. They also performed the task of doing the JoMax mold wash and made sure everything in the basement was in fact covered while doing it to not ruin any personal items. The foreman then went over the completion of the project and how the products installed works. The homeowner was so happy with the finished project, and the whole process, that when asked if they would give us their feedback and a review, they gave us 5 stars along with a fantastically worded review.
