Mount Pleasant French Drainage System
Challenge
Annette's home was 70 years old, and never took on water in the basement, until now!!! She knew she had to call an expert for help with this project, as waterproofing is not her specialty. She found and called upon the professionals at Keystone Basement Systems to help her, and to her surprise was made an appointment to meet with a field inspector, for the very next day. Keystone sent out one of their best field inspectors, Brian McWhirter, to meet with her and then to do his detailed inspection of the problem area. The field inspector both listened to her concerns as well as answered what questions she had, thus putting her mind at ease already! The inspection resulted in Brian knowing this basement needed a sump pump and also 32 feet of internal drainage with a service port, or aka cleanout. Once he had a written plan he then re-sat down with the homeowner and went over it, to ensure she understood the real issue as well as the solution and what might happen to her home if she didn't get it done. Annette and him both agreed to the facts and the terms of the projects and Brian quickly went back to the office to schedule this project for installation.
Solution
Keystone sent out one of their best crews on day of installation. The foreman sat down with Annette and went over what was going to happen as well as answering her questions. The crew the got to work with installing the internal drain system first, and the completed by installing the sump pump. The foreman and the homeowner went over everything after it was all done, this was done to be able to have a more hands on feel to show the homeowner what happened to their beautiful 70 year old basement. Annette was so excited that her house was fixed and that everyone at Keystone Basement Systems did a wonderful job, that she gave a 5 star review and couldn't wait to tell her kids about the results of her finished project.
