Internal French Drain
Challenge
Jeff called into Keystone Basement Systems due to finding pooling water in one room in his basement. Keystone sent out one of their best field inspectors to speak with him. After they spoke the field inspector then performed a very detailed inspection of the problem area. The plan that was set in place was to install a internal french drain with a service port, as well as installing a singular sump pump and doing a anti microbial spray on the walls. He also knew it had to involve some point cracking for the cracks in the wall, as this was where the water was coming form. The field inspector then sat down once again with the homeowner and explained everything to him in very fine detail, this was to ensure that he understood everything, and if he had questions the field inspector could answer them for him. The field inspector was very happy to hear that Jeff wanted to get this project done as soon as possible, so he promptly returned to the office and got this project scheduled for installation.
Solution
The foreman and his crew then went and installed the internal drainage system. They also installed the sump pump, did the point cracking and then cleaned up. The foreman then took the time to show Jeff how everything worked and asked if he had any questions, as he did not, due to the expertise explanation given by both him and the field inspector. Jeff was then given the telephone number to Keystone's service department so that he could call if he had any issues, questions or just needed to schedule his annual service, that came with his 5 year service plan. Jeff was so happy with the results of his whole experience that he not only gave a 5 star review but he also referred us to one of his co workers.
