Challenge
Lynn had called Keystone Basement Systems due to the fact that she had a bowing wall in her basement. Keystone knew they had to send someone out to her right away. The appointment was scheduled for the very next day with one of their best field inspectors, Aaron. Upon arrival Aaron and Lynn sat down and talked over the issue at hand, making sure to touch base on her concerns and answering all of her questions. The field inspector then went right to work performing his very detailed inspection of the problem area. Upon completion of his inspection Aaron was confident in his plan to get this house structurally sound again. The plan involved installing a internal drainage system along with a service port, as well as installing CarbonArmor carbon fiber straps on the bowing wall. The house also needed to be pointed, due to the fact that it had cracks in the wall that was bowing. The field inspector and the homeowner then sat down once again to go over the plan and questions that Lynn might have had. Once Aaron knew that Lynn fully understood the plan and was comfortable with the project that had to take place, he then returned to the office to schedule her home for installation.
Solution
The field inspector scheduled her for the first available time, this was done to ensure the house got fixed in a timely manner, so as to not undergo any further damages. The installation foreman and his crew arrived promptly and introduced themselves before getting to work, this made the homeowner feel more at ease with installation day. The foreman and his crew first started off by installing the CarbonArmor straps and then moved on to the internal drainage system. The crew then cleaned up, making sure to get all of their garbage, debris, and tools out of Lynn's basement before they were able to call the job complete. The foreman then not only explained everything to Lynn but also took the time she needed to show her everything and go over all of her questions and concerns. The foreman also made sure that Lynn had the telephone number for the service department. The homeowner was so over ecstatic with Keystone Basement Systems and the entire process of this project. She gave a great 5-star review and even referred Keystone out to some of her friends.
