Challenge
Todd and Tiffany got online to find a reputable waterproofing company and quickly saw that Keystone Basement Systems had amazing reviews and looked to be the best fit for them. Upon receiving the call Keystone promptly sent out one of their best field inspectors, Aaron, to not only conduct a detailed inspection of the problem area but also to sit and talk with Todd and Tiffany about the problem, as to help put their minds at ease and better educate them on why this happens and what can be done about situations like this. This put the homeowners in a better place to know their next steps. The field inspector went over every question they had, making sure to answer them expertly and with great knowledge. As soon as they finished talking the field inspector then went down to the basement to do his inspection. He performed his inspection by taking all the proper moisture tests and taking very accurate measurements as well as the other necessary things to come up with the perfect plan to get this house dry again. The plan involved installing an internal drain system that has a service port or better known as a cleanout. The plan also involved a sump pump and a discharge line that was to be buried. After explaining all of this to the homeowner, and making sure they fully understood, the field inspector then returned to the office and scheduled this project for as soon as possible.
Solution
On the day of installation, the foreman and his crew very promptly showed up at the scheduled time and very pleasantly introduced themselves before unloading the tools and equipment needed for this project. The foreman then went over everything to expect on installation day and even scheduled a time for mid-day that afternoon to go over any questions and or concerns with them. The crew then went to work digging and installing the internal drainage system, they installed the sump pump into the hole that was custom-made for it, and they installed the buried discharge line. They then made sure to thoroughly clean up and take pictures of the final results. The foreman then went over everything by not only showing Todd and Tiffany but also explaining everything to them step by step on how it worked and what its purpose was. The homeowner was so thrilled with Keystone they gave them a 5-star review!
