New downspout in Imperial
Challenge
Cindy and Rusty were referred to Keystone Basement Systems by a very valued customer of theirs, Steve. Steve had some waterproofing done with Keystone and was beyond pleased with the results. Keystone sent out one of their best field inspectors to sit down with both Cindy and Rusty to go over the problem before getting to work performing his very detailed inspection of the problem area. The field inspector knew how urgent this was for the homeowners to get fixed, as they worried not only about their stored items but their health as well, you see Cindy already had asthma so she had concerns about mold that would cause her further health issues. The field inspector jumped right into making sure he was conducting all the proper moisture tests and taking only very accurate measurements. He also performed many other necessary tests to help ensure he comes up with the proper custom plan for this home. The plan that he came up with was a fantastic plan that he was very confident in. The plan involved installing an internal french drain, a TripleSafe sump pump, as well as new downspouts, with extensions and a buried discharge line. The field inspector sat down once again with both Cindy and Rusty to go over his plan, and any questions or concerns they had with it. Once the field inspector completed this task he then returned to the office and scheduled this project for installation for the next possible day.
Solution
The foreman and his crew showed up promptly for the scheduled time and quickly, yet very politely introduced themselves. The foreman then went over what was going to take place with both Cindy and Rusty, making sure to answer all of their questions, and even schedule a time with them to do a mid-day check-in. The crew then went to work installing all of the new downspouts with their extensions as well as the discharge line. They then moved inside where they installed the internal drainage system as well as the sump pump. The crew then went to work cleaning up the basement, making sure to leave it better then they found it, considering it is dry now and clean. The foreman then went over everything with both Cindy and Rusty by not only telling them but by also showing them their new and improved basement as well as the outside products that had been installed. The homeowner was so happy with the results and the entire process that they gave Keystone a wonderful 5 star review.
