Internal drainage system in Ellwood City
Challenge
Mary and Frank had noticed some water coming into their basement and knew they had to call a professional for help. The wonderful girls at Keystone Basement Systems' appointment center made sure to get them on the schedule for the very next day. Keysone's field inspector Brian McWhirter promptly showed up for his appointment and met with Mary and Frank to discuss this issue. The discussion led to him learning how urgent this was to get fixed for these wonderful homeowners, so he then got right to performing his inspection. The inspection consisted of several tests as well as pictures and measurements. The plan was then final and he knew it was a surefire fix to getting this home dry again. Brian then met with Mary and Frank and went over every detail of this plan, making sure to answer any of the questions that they had. The plan that Brian had come up with was to install an internal drainage system as well as a buried discharge line and a single-stage sump pump. The field inspector and the homeowners had agreed that this needed to be done, so the field inspector quickly returned to the office where he put this on the schedule for installation.
Solution
Upon the day of installation, the foreman and his crew showed up right on time and introduced themselves before getting to work. The foreman and his crew then installed the internal drainage system and the sump pump before moving outside to install the discharge line. The foreman then went over everything that had been done with Mary and Frank, making sure they understood how it all worked and what it all was. The foreman then gave Mary and Frank the telephone number to the service department for their annual service times and in case they needed anything in the future. Both Mary and Frank were extremely happy nd made sure to give Keystone a great review.
