Moisture in Enon Valley
Challenge
John and Pat called Keystone Basement Systems and scheduled an appointment for help with their wet basement and bowing wall. Keystone then sent out field inspector Mark to meet with them and go over the problem before conducting his inspection of the problem. Field inspector Mark knew upon arrival that the first thing that needed to be done was to install new downspouts as these ones are pointed right at the basement. John and Pat showed him the issues at hand and so he got right to work performing his very detailed inspection. The inspection consisted of but was not limited to, performing moisture testing, and taking pictures and measurements of the problem area. The field inspector was very confident that what he had come up with was going to work for good and that the homeowners would not have any further issues. The plan was to consist of the new downspouts as well as an internal drainage system that was to be tied into a single-stage sump pump and a discharge line. The plan was to also include 4 power braces for the wall along with 2 carbon fiber straps and some CleanSpace. The field inspector met with John and Pat once again and went over everything before returning to the office to schedule this project for installation.
Solution
Upon the day of installation, the foreman and his crew showed up right on time and very politely introduced themselves before getting to work. The crew unloaded the truck while the foreman met with John and Pat to go over what was going to be taking place. The foreman and his crew then installed the new downspouts, and the new discharge line, and then moved on to the inside stuff. They started there by installing the PowerBraces and the carbon fiber straps, they then moved on to installing the CleanSpace and the internal drainage system and the sump pump. They crew wrapped up the job by making sure everything was cleaned up while the foreman met with John and Pat to go over the project. The foreman made sure to give them the phone number for the service department so that they could schedule their annual service appointments. John and Pat were extremely happy with the entire process and gave Keystone a wonderful review.
