A Farmington, WV homeowner suffered from water intrusion in their basement. The moisture from the basement water intrusion caused the wood to rot, which led to the weakening of the joists. As the joists weakened, they were unable to support the floors above, causing them to sag. To resolve this problem, we installed an interior perimeter drainage system (WaterGuard) to collect water from the basement walls and drain it to the TripleSafe Sump Pump System for removal. A TrenchDrain System was installed at the doorway to intercept water from the floor. The water is then redirected to the WaterGuard system and the TripleSafe system. To solve the sagging floor problem, we installed SmartJack Support Posts. The posts provide the necessary support to stabilize the sagging floor, restoring its original strength and preventing further sagging.
