Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Leaky Basement Walls in McKees Rocks, PA

Homeowners in McKees Rocks, PA contacted our office to schedule a free basement waterproofing inspection. They had seen signs of water seepage in their basement and wanted a professional to assess the situation and recommend the most effective solution. Following a thorough inspection of the basement by Chris Bailey, he found that the basement walls were leaking water into the basement. To solve the problem permanently, we installed our WaterGuard interior french drain system, a TripleSafe sump pump, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. This system was designed to intercept and remove all water from the basement walls, while also protecting the basement from flooding. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also included to ensure the basement was kept dry and prevent mold growth. All in all, this combination of interior french drain system, sump pump, and dehumidifier worked to completely solve the water problem in our customer's basement.

Basement Sump Pump System

In addition to the WaterGuard interior drainage system, we installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump. Installing a TripleSafe Sump Pump provides an extra layer of protection against basement flooding. With its three-pump system, it ensures that even in the event of power failure or pump malfunction, there will always be a backup pump to keep this basement basement dry.

To seal and level the WaterGuard System, the crew poured concrete over top.

Water Damaged Walls

During the process of installing the interior drainage system, the crew removed the bottom of the basement wall that was damaged by water.

Wet Basement Walls

As a result of hydrostatic pressure, the foundation walls cracked and water seeped into the basement. As the water seeped into the basement, it increased the pressure on the walls, causing them to crack. This caused more water to seep into the basement, exacerbating the problem.

Interior Drainage System Installation

Our basement drain systems take this drainage concept to the next level by using a wall flange that allows seepage to enter the drain and collects water off the walls to easily funnel it away from the customers foundation.
