A free crawl space inspection revealed that this New Cumberland, WV crawl space had high relative humidity, indicating moisture entry. The inspection also revealed inadequate ventilation, which could lead to mold growth in the crawl space, and the crawl space needed additional structural support. After completing his assessment, Chris Bailey recommended a permanent solution to the homeowner's moisture and structural problems. This project included sealing & insulating the crawl space, installing our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System, SilverGlo Wall Insulation and reinforcing the joists and beams with SmartJack Support Posts. All in all, this crawl space was successfully transformed into an energy efficient, healthy, safe space!

Inadequate Crawl Space Support

Inadequate support under your home can lead to problems such as sagging floors, problems opening and closing doors and windows, even cracks in the drywall.

Falling Insulation

Falling insulation is a sign of moisture intrusion in a crawl space. Air moisture is trapped in insulation, weighing it down and causing it to fall.

Wall Insulation

Permanent Stabilization

We installed a SmartJack Support Posts with a concrete footing between the existing piers for additional support.

Moisture Leak Prevention
