4 I Beams in Farmington
Challenge
Patrick met with a representative of Keystone Basement Systems at the home show and scheduled an appointment for them to come out to his house and see the bowing wall, he knew this was not some kind of do-it-yourself job. Keystone's field inspector, Kelly Blackburn, promptly showed up for his appointment and moved forward with their conversation about the problem area, once that was complete the field inspector then moved on to his inspection. The inspection consisted of conducting several tests along with taking very accurate measurements and also various other testings that have to be done to come up with a very thorough plan. The plan was completed and then gone over with Patrick to ensure he wanted to follow through and move forward with this project. The plan consisted of installing five 4-inch I Beams in his house. Homeowner Patrick knew how urgent it was to him to have this done so they agreed to move forward, and so Kelly returned to the office and put this house on the schedule for installation.
Solution
Upon the day of installation, the foreman and his crew showed up right on time and very quickly got to work. The foreman met with Patrick to go over what was going to take place as the crew unloaded the truck. The foreman and the crew then installed the five 4-inch I Beams in the basement and made sure to wrap up the project by cleaning up the entire work area. The foreman then met with Patrick to go over his new I Beams and also to give him the service department phone number, this was the number he had to call to schedule his annual maintenance and also if he had any further concerns or questions he wanted Keystone to address. Patrick was more than glad to have this project completed and has had one service call for his annual maintenance since then, and was pleased with that process as well!
