Point Cracking in New Eagle, Pa.
Challenge
Sue and Autumn called Keystone Basement System to help with their sagging floors. The floor was so bad that the door wouldn't close the right way anymore. Keystone scheduled an appointment for that very week to send a field inspector out to meet with them as well as conduct a very detailed inspection of the problem area. The field inspector that was sent out to their home was Brian McWhirter, he was very knowledgeable when it comes to moisture in the basement as he has been fixing wet basements for 20 years. Field inspector Brian and the ladies of the house had sat down to have a conversation and this is where Brian had learned that these ladies intended for this to be their forever home and that it was very important to get it fixed as soon as they could. The field inspector then quickly got to work conducting his inspection. The inspection was conducted by taking various tests and taking only the right and most accurate measurements possible. The inspection was not limited to just that though, it also involved pictures and some custom drawings as well as much much more. The field inspector knew that the plan that he had come up with was complete so he then returned upstairs where Sue and Autumn were waiting to hear the news. The plan was then gone over with them in great length and detail. The plan was to install 4 I beams as well as 6 PowerBraces and to also point crack some of the cracks that had occurred. Once Brian was done explaining everything to these very kind ladies and then quickly retuned to the office to schedule this out for installation.
Solution
Upon the installation day, the foreman and his crew showed up a few minutes early so they were able to have a short meet and greet with the homeowners. The crew then moved on to unloading the truck, while the foreman then moved on to explain to the ladies what was going to be taking place for the rest of the day. The foreman and the crew then got to work installing the I Beams and the Powerbraces and then wrapped up by doing the point cracking and cleaning up. The foreman then went over everything with Sue and Autumn and even made sure to provide them with the telephone number to the service department. This phone number was the number they needed to call to schedule their annual maintenance and if they have any further concerns or questions. Sue and Autumn were extremely happy with the project and also agreed to leave a wonderful review for Keystone Basement Systems.
