After seeing our foundation repair services in their local clipper magazine, this Pittsburgh, PA homeowner contacted our office to schedule a free estimate.There was an obvious unevenness to the floor above their basement and exterior porch.There were also "soft spots" in the floor, in addition to them being uneven. The main support beam in the basement and the porch support columns had water damage and rot. Due to the damage, the floors above became uneven and bouncy. We repaired the damaged beam by replacing it with a steel reinforcement beam. The most effective solution to lifting the area above its original position was to install SmartJack Support Posts.       Holes were dug out in the basement concrete to prepare a solid base for the jacks to be installed on. Once the base was cured, the Jacks were installed and attached to the steel beam.
