Foundation Push Pier Installation
The pier is then hydraulically driven into the ground until it reaches a stable soil or bedrock layer that can support and stabilize the foundation.
CarbonArmor Straps
Made from fiber-reinforced polymer that's 10-times stronger than steel. Specifically designed to reinforce & stabilize basement walls.
Foundation Push Pier
Push piers are installed next to the footings and attached with a heavy duty steel bracket. Soil is backfilled around the piers once stabilization and lifting is complete to finish the installation.
Foundation Cracks
Signs of foundation damage are usually easy to spot. Foundation walls built from concrete block typically crack along joint lines between blocks, forming a horizontal crack near the mid-point of the wall and "stair step" cracking at the corners.
CarbonArmor Strap FACT!
CarbonArmor reinforces and stabilizes basement walls utilizing the same technology used by the U.S. Department of Defense, Army Corps of Engineers and aerospace engineers to reinforce bomb shelters, skyscrapers and bridges.
Installing CarbonArmor Straps
After cleaning the wall to ensure good adhesion, the technician masks off each carbon fiber strip location and saturates the masonry with epoxy. The CarbonArmor reinforcement becomes part of the wall structure, and can be hidden with a coat of paint.
