Before encountering us, the homeowner's crawlspace was an unwelcoming, damp area, a common issue many face. They reached out, seeking a transformation, aspiring for their crawlspace to be encapsulated, ensuring a healthier, protected home. As shown in these vivid before and after photos, our trusted solution involved installing CleanSpace, a high-quality liner that seals and safeguards against moisture and deterioration. We also installed EverBrace for wall support. The end result is a clean, dry, and structurally sound space, highlighting our commitment to delivering lasting solutions and exceptional customer satisfaction in Aliquippa, PA.
The homeowner reported having a bad odor coming up to the first floor via the crawlspace as well as cold floors. After scheduling a free estimate we sent out an informative book titled “Crawlspace Science” for free to review in the few days between scheduling and the actual appointment. This gave the client a good understanding of the situation and allowed him to form specific questions for our inspector.
After arriving, the client had an idea of what he wanted and our inspector, Mr. Brian McWhirter, showed how Keystone Basement Systems could help accomplish this goal.
The client had a crawlspace which was not encapsulated. This is a very big problem and can lead to a host of negative outcomes. The plan was a proper crawlspace encapsulation.
The project was large. A typical crawlspace encapsulation takes one day, but this one took 3 to complete. That said, once it was complete, it was marvelous. Not only does it look clean, but it is well insulate and protects against mold, moisture, water and odor.
If you have issues with bowing, buckling, or cracked foundation walls, Keystone Basement Systems has the solutions you need to stabilize your home's foundation! The PowerBrace Wall Repair System is the ideal way to stabilize failing foundation walls. If you have walls that are bowing, buckling, or tilting inwards, installing a PowerBrace system can stop any further damage and potentially straighten the wall.
This basement's high moisture content rusted the metal support beam. As a result of the corrosion, the beam was weakened and the floors above were not supported adequately. Our permanent solution to this problem was to remove the beam and replace it with our corrosion resistant SmartJack Support Post System.
To ensure a dry basement, the TrenchDrain Surface Drainage System was installed to capture water entering the basement door and drain it to the sump pump system.
